Vision for Future:

True knowledge and education must be God-centred. Education of children is the God-given responsibility of parents. The purpose of Stouffville Christian School is to provide daily instruction which enables children to achieve their fullest potential.

At SCS we aim to teach the whole child – spiritually, academically, physically and socially. A Christian world view is integrated into a diverse curriculum that meets or exceeds provincial standards. Our goal is simple – to grow the future leaders of our community. A number of strategies have been developed to help the organization focus its efforts. This is depicted as follows:

Stouffville Christian School is blessed with a passionate and committed staff, board, membership and alumni base. Strong, consistent and accountable leadership will take the school to its goal of 150 students by 2010. We will continue to strengthen our programme and to ensure that it is delivered by a qualified staff. The Lord continues to bless the School. Jeremiah 29:11-13 reveals to us that God has a plan:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Stouffville Christian School will continue its focus and commitment to Christ-centred education with individual attention given to the needs and abilities of each child so they may achieve their full potential. The value of a Christian education will last an eternity.
