2007/2008

Stouffville Christian School offers quality education. In an attempt to enable families to take advantage of our education program, fees are kept as low as possible. It is through the generous donations from parents and supporters of the school that SCS can offer its program at a cost that is lower than would otherwise be possible.

1. Membership Fee (This fee is tax deductible) = $1,500.00

Each family will pay a $1,500.00 Annual Membership Fee, to be paid in two equal instalments on July 15th and August 15th.

This must be paid by all families prior to the child(ren) being admitted the first day of classes.

2. Tuition Fee (part of this fee may be tax deductible)

Grades 1st Child 2nd Child 3rd +
Full-time 1-8 $5,000.00 $3,500.00 $0.00
Part-time JK-SK $3,000.00 $2,100.00 $0.00

This includes a book & material fee as well as fees for most incidental activities, eg. Class trips, sports activities, music activities etc.

3. Miscellaneous Fees
The students may be charged for some activities during the school year when extra expenses are incurred, or when books have been lost or destroyed.

4. Bursaries
May be applied for by families involved in a recognized, full-time Christian ministry or who demonstrate a critical financial need. Application forms are available from the office.

5. Parent Participation
Because tuition fees do not cover all of the schools expenses, we ask all parents to participate in fundraising and work bees. This helps keep the costs down.

6. Payment Schedule
Membership fee
  - $750.00 July 15
  - $750.00 August 15

Post dated cheques must accompany (re)enrolment form.

Tuition
  - 10 post dated cheques or
  - 2 post dated cheques or
  - Payment in full at the start of the year or
  - Arrangements with treasurer

Post dated cheques must be handed into the office on the first day of school and need to be dated no later than the 15th of each month.
